When can I start?
You can start immediately, as soon as you feel ready. Simply purchase a Try-out lesson through the Aqua Hero website or the Aqua Hero app. After that, you can access the schedule and book the class, date, and time that suits you best. There are no fixed starting dates. You choose when you begin.
What a try-out lesson is?
A Try-out lesson is an opportunity to experience Aqua Hero firsthand. You will join a regular 60-minute group class at one of our locations. During the class, the coach will assess your current level, review your basics, and observe different elements of your swimming. The session includes structured exercises and drills designed to support your development and help you improve efficiently. Based on your goals and current abilities, you can discuss the next steps with your coach and decide how to continue your swimming journey.
What equipment do I Need for my swimming lesson?
For your first visit, bring your own swimming gear, flip-flops, towel, and your million-dollar smile! Optional you can bring swimming goggles & swimming cap. We're excited to welcome you.
I am a complete beginner, can you help me?
Yes, absolutely. Aqua Hero is specifically designed to help adults who are complete beginners or feel uncomfortable in the water. Our Beginner classes focus on building strong foundations, including breathing, floating, basic coordination, and water confidence. Classes take place in small groups with a maximum of five students per coach, ensuring personal attention in a controlled and supportive environment. Many of our students start from zero. You are not alone, and you will be guided step by step. If you are unsure, you can start with a Try-out lesson and experience the class firsthand.
For whom are the Aqua Hero swimming courses?
We are specialized in training adults. We are working with complete beginners, intermediate or advanced swimmers.
I can swim, but I am afraid of the deep water, can you help me?
Yes! We understand that fear of water, past experience or limiting beliefs are real. We are here to help you overcome your fear/anxiety about anything that might be related with your experience in the water.
How much it takes to learn how to swim?
This depends on the individual. Every swimming journey is different, and progress varies from person to person. Some adults progress faster, while others need more time to feel comfortable and confident. Consistency, previous experience, and personal goals all play an important role. Based on our experience, on average: - It takes around 12 to 15 classes to move from Beginner to Intermediate level. - It takes approximately 35 to 40 hours of structured training to reach Advanced level, where a swimmer is comfortable in deep water, can tread water confidently, and swim using coordinated strokes. Your commitment and consistency strongly influence your learning speed. A person training three to four times per week will generally progress faster than someone who swims occasionally. These are general estimates, and your progression will depend on your starting point and dedication.
Are you teaching children?
Aqua Hero is designed primarily for adults. Participants under the age of 18 may join only after prior consultation with the Aqua Hero team. If you are interested in enrolling someone under 18, please contact us directly so we can assess suitability.
